Culbertson Family Pets

PICTURES ARE ON THEIR WAY!

Tweety: The only non-canine pet we have, Tweety is my sister Skylar’s parakeet. She was once a sweet, playful, demure bird, but has since became quite the feisty creature.

Snowflakey: Snowflakey’s a retired breeder cocker spaniel, afflicted with the anxious, grumpy disposition of the typical cocker. Still, she’s a loyal and kind old lady. Just don’t move any furniture (particularly her kennel), or she’ll get all twitchy and confused. She’s about the only animal in the house who can hold her own against Spike.

Leo: The toy poodle who stole my heart. He’s a tiny cotton-ball-esque puppy and is just perfect. Until I met Leo, I never really cared for dogs… That changed.

Spike: A bit of an anomoly in the Culbertson house, Spike’s a huge boxer great dane mix we rescued from the Hoke County Animal Shelter. Despite his utterly intimidating appearance, he’s a fairly gentle animal. I don’t have much to do with him… But he’s a handsome fellow and a well-behaved dog.

Juno-Angel: My shi tzu! We’re in the process of convincing this one her name is Juno, and not Angel. We re-christened this one Juno because she got knocked up within days of being with us. When we call her “Juno-Angel,” it comes out sounding a bit like “you no angel.” This is a fair assessment. Despite her uh, pressing need to reproduce, she’s best dog I’ve met. Very, very well behaved and a total lapdog.

Max: The one-eyed, 8-year-old cutie who impregnated my Juno. He’s been through some rough times (his ears are funky, his one eye is quite infected, and he has heart problems) but he’s still a capable fellow. He prefers his leisure time curled up under the recliner or playing with Leo.
